Monsters went to China

As we said we were, we did!
We just came back from two intense and exciting weeks in Beijing where we attended the International Student Film and Video Festival at BFA.
Great things happened,  interesting and talented people were met, scorpions and beetles were eaten, and after the smog settled we came home with a nomination for Best Creative and an award for Best Technical Application in animation!

The good news from the far east doesn’t stop in Beijing! “Monsters don’t Exist” won the Young Audience Award in the Kids Mix Competition at the CRAFT Festival in Yogyakarta!

We may be monsters, but we are not liars. Here’s the proof of our time in China

Check out our super happy and awkward little faces while presenting for the first time I Mostri non Esistono in front of a real audience at the FMK International Short Film Festival in Pordenone! We won the Friuladria scouting talent award so we will be back next year with a new exciting project!

Last but not least: we also graduated!!

Wohoo! Just some real intense three days in a row!

Thank you so much to our tutors Marco Zanoni, Ramona Mismetti and Guido Orlandi for guiding us in this intricated jungle which is the animation production, to all our classmates who kept the spirits up, and to Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti which made all of this possible!
